Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ white onion, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for pan-frying)
- Smash Kitchen Hot Honey BBQ Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well combined, but don’t overmix.
- Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the meatballs in batches and brown them on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. You don’t need to cook them through, just get a nice golden crust.
- Generously brush each meatball with Hot Honey BBQ Sauce. Place the meatballs into the oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the meatballs are fully cooked through.
- Serve with a side of vegetables. Enjoy!
